Lake Honet

Lake 1

"Lake Honet"

Although this is the smallest of our lakes at approximately 1½ acres in size, it is the most picturesque, quietly nestled amongst the towering birch and ash trees of the ancient woodland. Lake Honet really is a vision of peace and serenity.

This lake also has the advantage of having an island, not only to add to its appearance but with the obvious benefit of the fish patrolling its perimeter.

We have 4 swims available on this lake all giving you plenty of water to fish to and room enough for you to spread out and relax.

We are currently using this lake to bring on our stock fish, and as the fish are juveniles it is ideal for beginners or if you want to rest your swim on one of the other lakes and day fish, maybe try to tempt them with a floating dog biscuit or even have a float rod out.

Lake Honet is spring fed and has a natural silty bottom, it has depths from 1m at the far end to 2m at the dam wall.
